Grand Opening in August – with some builders previewing their
new homes starting in June – Hollyhock is the newest Metroplex
community being developed by Newland Communities, the nation’s
largest private developer of master-planned mixed-use communities.
Hollyhock is located in Frisco, just 3 miles west of the Dallas North
Tollway, in the highly regarded Frisco Independent School District.
Hollyhock offers new homes priced from the $400,000s
to $600,000s by Coventry Homes, David Weekley Homes,
Drees Custom Homes, and Highland Homes. Five fully furnished
model homes will debut at the Grand Opening, with an emphasis
on spacious and luxurious interiors, ample outdoor living areas,
and sustainable design.
Planned for just over 800 single-family homes, Hollyhock offers
residents plentiful opportunities to connect with nature, with
20 acres of recreation inside the community, and trails connecting
to more than 300 acres of natural open space next door.
The first phase of Hollyhock’s flagship community center is well
under way, and is planned to open in October. With Prairie-style
architecture and lush native landscaping, this community center
will offer a resort-style pool with a beach entry, lap lanes, a
lounging shelf, and a splash pad.
Envisioned as the hub of social life for Hollyhock residents, the
community center will also have an event lawn, playground, and a
covered patio with an outdoor fireplace. The clubhouse will include
a fitness center and gathering spaces for all kinds of resident events.
More community parks are planned in future phases.
Trails are another highlight, with a 5.5-mile community trail system
connecting to over 300 acres of adjacent parkland. This scenic park
space is home to Frisco’s Northwest Community Trail, recently
named the “Best Place to Pop a Wheelie” by Frisco Style Magazine.
Hollyhock is located in Frisco ISD, one of the most highly regarded
school districts in Texas, with an A+ rating from the education
review website Niche.com. Students living in Hollyhock will attend
Newman Elementary School, Trent Middle School, and Lone Star
With immediate access to the Dallas North Tollway, Hollyhock
is seven miles from Frisco’s famed “$5 Billion Mile,” a concentration
of four mixed-use developments worth $5.7 billion in capital
investment. Also nearby are Downtown Frisco, Frisco Square,
Headquarter Row, Legacy Park, and other major destinations.
Hollyhock is owned in a joint venture partnership between
American Newland Communities, LLC (Newland) and North
